First Production and Export
Rokand coffee embarked on its journey with its first production of roasted coffee. This led to the companhy making its first export to Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Zambia and Mozambique marking the company's entry into the international market.
Struggles Amid Economic Challenges
Towards the end of the first year of operation, we faced substantial challenges as many clients reduced their orders due to harsh economic conditions. This period tested the resilience and adaptability of the company, propelling it to reassess its strategies.
Focus on Local Market
Rokand Coffee redirected its efforts towards the local market. Understanding the longstanding tea-drinking tradition in Kenya, the company launched campaigns through a local entity to educate consumers about the unique qualities of Kenyan coffee. This strategy aimed to build a strong and appreciative domestic customer base.

Towards the end of 2024 we set forth a 10-year audacious goal: to become the leading and most beloved provider of sustainably sourced and innovatively roasted Kenyan coffee beans. This vision is to revolutionize the global coffee culture by showcasing the rich flavors of Kenya's beans.
