A hybrid resistant to coffee leaf rust and berry disease. While it’s not as flavorful as SL28 or SL34, it still delivers a pleasant berry tone with good acidity.
2. SL34
Hybrid Variety: Developed as a hybrid between SL28, SL34, and other varieties, Ruiru 11 was bred to be resistant to diseases such as coffee leaf rust. It has a slightly less complex flavor but still offers good acidity and balanced sweetness.

Often described as lively or sparkling, with notes of citrus, berry, and sometimes wine-like acidity.

Common flavors include blackcurrant, passionfruit, blueberry, and jasmine.

SL28 is susceptible to diseases and pests,
